Global Walkway Solutions was formed in February 2006 by Iain Clegg and Andrew Walker to provide a ‘one-stop shop’ for handrail and walkway related products and components.
The company has expanded and diversified over the last several years to become a unique operation, offering an incomparable comprehensive range of products and services to suit a vast range of applications into many types of industry.
The company has two key sectors Industrial and Architectural where we offer tailored solutions to suit the different needs of these two markets, Industrial Solutions and Architectural Solutions. Industrial Solutions offering products such as Pipeclamps, Handrail Standards and related products, Handrail Components, Flooring products and GRP handrail products. Iain Clegg - Director
Iain cut his teeth in the steel stockholding industry working in quality control, then purchasing and progressed into sales. Eventually Iain moved into technical sales for specialist products for handrail and walkway systems. In this field he found a rewarding outlet for his creativity, technical knowledge and experience.
Andrew Walker - Director
Andrew started his career in the drawing office of a shipbuilding company, gaining a wide knowledge of mechanical and production engineering. He moved into CAD design of engineering pipe work systems working at various companies. Eventually moving into the sales side of the steel industry, developing solutions for customers to meet there budget and timescales.
